India’s one of the biggest Industry, Reliance Industry Limited, has launched world’s cheapest 4G Smartphone “JioPhone” last month which has taken the whole telecom sector by a storm. The 4G Jiophone would be available from 24th August for sale through online stores. But before the user makes a decision to buy this smart phone, we would like to share a few details which would help a user to make a decision if they should buy this phone or not.
Jio Phone Disadvantage
One of the major disadvantage of JioPhone is that it is “Made in China”. Yes, you heard it right. Jio phone would be initially manufactured in China to meet the starting sale demand. By looking at the current Political relation with China, there are many Indians who are boycotting the Chinese product. This will definitely affect the Jiophone Sale. While launching the Jiophone, Reliance chairman, Mukesh Ambani, told that the smart phone would be Made in India. When we contacted the Reliance industry, they told us that JioPhone would be manufactured in India from September.
While launching the Jiophone, Reliance chairman, Mukesh Ambani, told that the smart phone would be Made in India. When we contacted the Reliance industry, they told us that JioPhone would be manufactured in India from September. Even once the Jio Phone is started manufacturing in India, it is possible that the parts of the smartphone will be exported from China. According to the Market rumors, Jiophone would be manufactured by the below Chinese companies.
- THL (Technology Happy Life)
- Zuk Mobile
JioPhone has been marketed as “India ka Smartphone” and the tragedy is that it is not even made in India. In the past also when Reliance Jio introduced their “JioFi” device it was initially Made in China and later Made In India JioFi devices were available in Market. We would like to share that we are not against Made in China product but it is definitely not good for our country economy. If the product is Made in India then it will open new Job opportunity for the youth in our country. Also India would not be dependable on China for Electronic Items.
Other Options instead of Jio
If a user doesn’t want to buy a Chinese Jio Phone then they can wait till Diwali as manufacturing of Jio phones will start in India September and will be available for sale From October. But if a user doesn’t want to buy a Jiophone, as it will be a locked phone and only Jio sim would work in it, then they can buy “Intex Turbo+4G”. It is the latest 4G smart phone launched by Intex to compete with Jiophone. the biggest advantage of this phone is that it is a “Unlocked 4G phone” means you can use any network sim in this phone. It will be available in the market soon.
