Bad news for users who use WhatsApp,  the users who use some special platform has to choose something other than WhatsApp. because WhatsApp is ending its support for them. If you use any Symbian operating system, then you can not use WhatsApp after 30 June anymore.  last year WhatsApp had also ended its support for Android 2.2 Froyo, ios 6 and windows phone 7.

These operating system will not get WhatsApp feature after 30 June

It was reported earlier that WhatsApp is ending its support from some operating system which are BlackBerry Operating System, BlackBerry 10 and Nokia S60. Whatsapp also has given a reason for ending support with them. WhatsApp says that these platforms or operating system don’t have that kind of capabilities it needs to expand the app’s features. That is why WhatsApp is removing its support from these platforms.                                              According to WhatsApp Support page, “These platforms don’t offer the kind of capabilities we need to expand our app’s features in the future. If you use one of these affected mobile devices, we recommend upgrading to a newer OS version, or to a newer Android running OS 2.3.3+,

Why WhatsApp is withdrawing support from these platforms

If you use one of these affected mobile devices, we recommend upgrading to a newer OS version, or to a newer Android running OS 2.3.3+, i Phone running iOS 7+, or Windows Phone 8+ so that you can continue using WhatsApp.”

WhatsApp has been declared it earlier in 2009 that Android and iOS platforms were running on less than 25% of the devices and at the same time when BlackBerry and Nokia’s Operating System captured the 70% share market. with  WhatsApp’s latest decision these two Operating systems have lost their popularity.

Transferring the Chat history between two platforms

Currently, there is no method to transfer the chat history between two platforms, but the users can send their whole chat history to their email and save it. Although WhatsApp’s Support page has the complete steps for this.
