SBI 5 Initiatives
In past few months, State Bank Of India has taken many initiatives. But in those initiatives, it has taken 5 big moves which you must be aware of. The first move of SBI was launching the YONO App. For the customer’s ease, it has reduced the NEFT & RTGS charges which were the 2nd step of SBI. YONO App has recently introduced by State Bank Of India or SBI which is said to be all in one app. As the name suggest You Only Need One App or YONO, you can do various works through one app only. In YONO, you will get lots of features like all banks has. NEFT & RTGS Charges Reduction
This is really a big step from SBI. Considering the complaints of customers of increasing banking charges, SBI has decided to reduce the NEFT & RTGS charges up to 75 %. These reduced charges are applicable when the transactions are done through the internet and mobile banking services. Also, to promote small transactions, SBI has waived the IMPS( Immediate Payment Service) up to Rs. 1000/-.
Reduction in IMPS charges
State Bank of India has recently slashed the IMPS charges to increase small transactions. If there is a fund transfer in the range of Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 1 lakh, then for IMPS, the charge will be Rs. 5 along with GST. And the charges for IMPS will increase up to RS.15 for transactions of 2 lakhs. All financial transactions will be done at the charges of 18% with GST.
Branch Name & IFSC Code Changed
SBI has changed the names and IFSc codes of 1295 of its branches. The bank has published the list of all those branches whose names and IFSC codes have been changed on its website. These branches are located in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Patna, and Bhopal, among others.
If any of you have not yet linked your Aadhaar Number to Your Account Number, then you must do it now. Because it has very less time left here. Dec 31, 2017, is the last date of liking your Aadhaar number to your Bank Account. If you do not link your Aadhaar to your Bank Account, your account will cease till you do not submit the information of your Aadhaar Number.
